Standard: EN 10131 formerly DIN 1541
EN 10131 gives the tolerances on dimensions and shape for cold rolled uncoated and zinc or zinc-nickel electrolytically coated low-carbon and high-yield-strength steel flat products for cold forming. It replaced DIN 1541. Two tolerance classes are given: normal, and special (S) for closer limits, which must be asked for on the order.
The values below are those of the first edition (EN 10131:1991) as carried on the old site. The current edition (EN 10131:2006) keeps the same structure but groups the steels by minimum yield strength differently; use the current edition for contract purposes.
