worldsteel's Middle East region (Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Yemen) made 56.9 Mt of crude steel in 2025, up 4.3% on 2024, and 54.8 Mt in 2024.
