Torispherical dished heads (R = D, r = 0.1D) — dimensions, mass and capacity

Standard: DIN 28011 (Klöpper form) · ASME VIII Div. 1 · EN 13445

Torispherical heads with a dish radius equal to the outside diameter and a knuckle radius of about one tenth of it — the proportions of the German Klöpper form (DIN 28011) and close to the ASME flanged-and-dished head. They are the usual end for pressure vessels and process tanks of moderate pressure.

The figures come from a fabricator's catalogue and are typical: the straight flange, the exact knuckle radius and the tolerances depend on the maker and the design code, so confirm them on the drawing before ordering.
