Medium radius dished heads for tanks — dimensions, mass and capacity

Standard: Manufacturer's series for storage tanks

Dished ends with a dish radius equal to the diameter and a knuckle of 50–180 mm, between the shallow small-knuckle head and the full torispherical head. They are made for horizontal storage tanks — fuel and water tanks above and below ground — including the inner and outer shell of double-walled tanks.

D outside diameter · s thickness · R dish radius · r knuckle radius · h straight flange · H internal height without the straight flange · Ht overall external height (H + h + s) · V capacity in litres including the straight flange.

Heads for double-walled tanks (outer shell)

The outer head is a few millimetres larger in diameter than the inner one so that the interstitial space can be monitored.
