Finished steel imports surge in July

Pakistan's finished steel imports rose nearly 33pct YoY in July 2025, reaching 343,257 tons compared with 258,419 tons in July 2024, according to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

On a month-on-month basis, imports jumped 92.2pct from June.

Cumulatively, finished steel imports for January-July 2025 climbed 33pct YoY to 2.26 mln tons.
