The Moroccan Institute for Standardization (IMANOR) is the national standards body. With the Ministry of Industry it grants the NM mark of conformity to Moroccan standards.

Reinforcing steel is on the Ministry of Industry’s list of mandatory Moroccan standards, including NM 01.4.096 for high-bond bars and coils (mandatory since 2 July 2015) and NM 01.4.095 for plain round bars.
