Metal Care Center secures financing for integrated long steel project in Umm Al Quwain

Metal Care Center Factory LLC has secured financing from Emirates Islamic to support the development of an integrated steel processing facility in Umm Al Quwain, UAE.

Metal Care Center operates a steel melt shop and downstream rolling mill focused on long steel products at Umm Al Quwain Industrial City. Further details on the latest financing, including the investment value, processing capacity and commissioning timeline, were not disclosed.

In May 2026, Metal Care Center, together with CIM Steel Industry LLC and Rhino Steel Industry LLC, announced the launch of an integrated steel manufacturing and processing complex with combined annual production and processing capacity approaching 1 mln tons. The complex includes steel melting and rebar production facilities operated by Metal Care, alongside cold rolling and coated steel production facilities operated by CIM Steel and Rhino Steel.

Shyam Pillai, Partner at Metal Care Center Group, said the facility marked an important milestone in the group's growth and would strengthen its manufacturing capabilities in the UAE. He added that the financing support was aligned with the group's expansion plans.
