Kardemir reduces billet prices

Turkish steel producer Kardemir has reduced its billet prices by USD 15 per ton, according to the latest price list.

The updated price for S235JR grade billets is USD 535 per ton EXW, while B420 grade billets are set at USD 560 per ton EXW as compared to the prices announced on October 10, 2024.

Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company's product portfolio includes blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and various other steel products, with manufacturing facilities strategically located in Karabuk.
