Kardemir raises billet prices

Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has raised billet prices by USD 15 per ton, according to its latest price list.

The price for S235JR grade billets is now set at USD 500 per ton EXW, while B420 grade billets are offered at USD 495 per ton EXW.

Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company produces blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products. The company's production facilities are located in Karabuk.
