Canada extends antidumping investigation period for Emirati rebar imports

Canada has extended the preliminary phase of its antidumping duty investigation into rebar imports from the United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, and Thailand.

The investigation, initiated on May 3, 2024, follows a petition from ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada, Gerdau Ameristeel Corp., and AltaSteel, with support from Max Aicher (North America) Ltd. and Ivaco Rolling Mills.
