World crude steel production was 109 million metric tons (mmt) in November, 4% higher than the same month of 2006.
Total world production is 1211 mmt for the first 11 months of 2007, an increase of 7.7% over the same period of 2006.
China produced 39.7 mmt in November, which is an increase of 4.3% compared to November 2006.
Total EU-27 production for the first eleven months of 2007 reached 193.3 mmt, 1.6% higher than the same period of 2006.
Turkey produced 2.1 mmt, an increase of 10.3% compared to the same month last year.

World crude steel production was 114 million metric tons (mmt) in October, 6.6% higher than the same month of 2006.
Total world production is 1101.8 mmt for the first ten months of 2007, an increase of 8.1% over the same period of 2006.
