PRODUCT FEATURES

Utilizing a keyswitch, you can select and set buttons, reset time and dates, change the G-level reading and change the car ID number as simply as setting a watch.

MAG 3200

The 3200 is a single sensor unit that records up to 50 time/date events. In addition, a port enables users to simply plug in a small printer, or download data using a DataRanger collection unit and analyzed using proprietary MagMate software. Data is downloaded and cleared from the unit simultaneously. The hard copies may then be transmitted, filed or collected for overall program analysis.

MAG 3200 INSTALLATION

The MAG 3200 can be mounted in a variety of locations or orientations - on trucks or rail cars. Each unit comes with a bracket plate that may be permanently attached using screws. The unit is also available with an aggressive 1/32" adhesive, providing convenient application to any clean, dry surface. Extra disposable bracket plates are available for temporary mounting. Both units operate on 2/3A volt lithium batteries that are widely available.

MAG 3200 SECURITY

All MAG 3200 enclosures are constructed of glass filled polycarbonate materials... watertight and chemical resistant. A hasp allows the use of a wire seal or padlock. Additional security is possible with the use of an optional steel enclosure (see ACCESSORIES). Data security is built into the unit through the use of a key switch. The key is available only to authorized personnel.

Additional protection is available with this 5 1/8" x 7 3/4" x 3" steel enclosure. bolts or welds to vehicle. Clasp closure for ease of opening. Rubber gasket adds moisture protection. Enamel finish resists corrosion and rough treatment. Enclosure can be sealed or locked.
